Basavanna has never sought recognition, awards, or publicity for his work. For him, the greatest reward is the opportunity to serve individuals battling addiction and help them reclaim their lives. His dedication reflects humility and selfless service, yet his tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed.

The government, along with various associations and organizations, has acknowledged Our significant contribution to de-addiction and rehabilitation. Notably, We were honored with the 2021–22 Temperance Award by the Karnataka Government’s Alcohol Control Board. This prestigious award has previously been presented to distinguished personalities such as Shri Veerendra Heggade of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Institute and Shri Mahant Swami of Ilakal Math. Receiving an award bestowed upon such eminent figures highlights the depth of Basavanna’s impact and commitment.

In addition, a short film created by individuals who completed rehabilitation at the center and successfully overcame addiction won the First Prize at the State Level, further demonstrating the transformative influence of BasavaMarga’s work.
